THE SUNDAWGS
The Rock & Roll Party Band!
The Sundawgs are a Coachella Valley-based, high-energy rock-and-roll cover band that knows how to get a crowd on its feet and keep the party going!
Guitarist Gary Thornton and bassist Glenn Woods have known each other since the early ’90s, crossing paths and sharing stages in different bands over the years. In the summer of 2016, they finally joined forces to form The Sundawgs.
With the powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence of lead singer Jeanette Charnay, the band quickly began developing its own sound and identity. It wasn’t long before drummer Terry Dubas, a former bandmate of Glenn’s from an original rock band, joined the lineup, bringing his driving rhythms and infectious grooves to the mix.
The Sundawgs deliver an incredibly diverse mix of popular, danceable rock-and-roll hits spanning the 1960s to today. But what really sets them apart is their song selection. Rather than playing the same predictable setlists heard from countless other cover bands, the Sundawgs dig deeper, bringing audiences those unforgettable songs they love, songs they haven’t heard live in years, and songs that make them say, “Wow! I haven’t heard a band play that one before!”
From classic rock favorites to irresistible dance grooves, the Sundawgs bring energy, musicianship, and a genuine love of performing to every show.
Great songs. Great musicians. Great times.
